Mystical Interludes II with Emily Rodavich

Awake 2 Oneness Radio with author Emily Rodavich on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 7:00 PM EDT. This is Emily's second time as my guest and I have the pleasure of meeting Emily in person at several events here in the Northeast. This program was pre-recorded. Click here to listen to the show. At the end of her memoir, Mystical Interludes: An Ordinary Person’s Extraordinary Experiences, Emily invited readers to submit true stories about their own mystical experiences for her next book. Enthusiastic reader responses, along with strong audience interest at her speaking events, have generated thirty-nine captivating narratives for this edition of Mystical Interludes II. Stories about out-of-body experiences, or shamanic initiation, or past-life episodes boggle the mind. Life-changing tales about receiving important signs, insights, and answers from beyond instill awe, and those that trace the coming together of two meant-to-be lives inspire wonder and warm the heart. A few might even bring a smile to your face and tears to your eyes. Most of these tales will confound your reasoning mind, but resonate in your heart, even your soul. Emily is a product of several small industrial communities in the Pittsburgh area. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later graduated from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Mystical Interludes is her first book, though her artistic endeavors have bloomed elsewhere. In 1968 she collaborated with Jay Christopher in writing lyrics for a musical written by Christopher and her pianist husband, Carl Geruschat. The musical, "Your Most Humble Servant", based on the lives of Samuel Johnson and his biographer James Boswell, was produced bio-vertical at the White Barn Theater in Irwin, Pennsylvania, and also in a small theater in London, England. While teaching high school English, she directed school plays and patented a hands-on methodology for teaching the parts of speech. Emily has traveled to the United States, Europe, Egypt, China, Thailand, and Israel partly to explore spiritual, religious, and supernatural mysteries, including her own. She is mother to three children and grandmother to two grandsons and two granddaughters. Her offspring include several talented musicians and singer/songwriters.
